So here we are: the new website is live! First, let us show you how to reactivate your account and then we'll give you a tour of the changes and improvements you can expect.
How to reactivate your account
If you have completed a purchase on our website in the past, you know how valuable your Calimacil account is. It contains your order history, your adresses for faster checkout as well as your Calimacil Golds.
All of these have been moved to the new website. All you have to do is to open the Account login page, select the "Forgot your password" link and type in your email address. You'll then reveice an email with instructions on how to reset your password and log in to your account.

Changes and improvements
1. Our reward program gets a major update
Calimacil Gold is our way of giving back for your ongoing support. If you liked collecting gold and earning discounts on our old website, you'll enjoy it even more now. When you used to be getting a 5% return on your purchase, you'll now get 10%. Yes, we've decided to double the gold! And for those whose treasure is never big enough, there is a new way to earn gold...
2. You can now earn gold by inviting your friends
If you like us, let it know around you! Invite your friends to visit our site by sharing them a 5% discount coupon. You'll be rewarded with 50 golds (worth 5$) when your friend makes his first purchase.
In addition to his 5% discount, your friend will also receive the 10% return in golds explained above. Isn't that wonderful?
3. Gold is now used to buy discount coupons
Another major change to our gold system is the use of coupon codes. Instead of using your golds directly in the cart, you now have to spend your gold on discount coupons and then use those coupons during the checkout. There is a coupon available for every $5 step.
4. Custom gets a makeover
What sword can be better than the one you make yourself? Well, maybe one we make especially for you, based on your selection in our custom sword builder. For those more inclined to axes, maces and hammers, we also created a new custom staff builder using the same new custom tool.
While the options are almost the same as on our previous website, the builders should be much easier to use. We're already working on a new versions that will offer better previews of the items you're building. Stay tuned!
5. No more stocks based on your location
Remember the country selector on the old website? This was used to assign you with the inventory closest to you but also meant you couldn't access all the Calimacil inventory. Now, everyone around the world use the same inventory and have access to everything we have to offer. If you are located in Europe or Australia, the catalog just got a lot bigger!
6. Improved navigation
Are you unsure if you should go for a long sword or a bastard sword? Are you shopping for multiple armor parts all at once? If so, you'll be glad to know you can now select one of our top categories (Weapons, Armour, Costume or Accessories) and filter the products you see by using the options on the left panel. This can also be done on mobile by using the "Refine by" feature.
Even better, you can select multiple options at once. For example, if you navigate to LARP Weapons, you could select only the long and bastard swords and have a look at our selection on the same page.
7. Questions about products
You can now ask a question directly on a product's page. When we answer it, you'll be notified by email with the answer. In addition to all this, if we feel like your question is useful to other customers, we'll add it along with the answer on the product's page. This means you'll be helping others who shop for the same item. How generous of you!
