Witchers are mutants, men subjected to gruelling training and flesh-altering experiments that prepare them for one purpose: to kill monsters. Geralt was forged at the elite School of the Wolf and is considered one of the deadliest witchers ever trained. He possesses superhuman reflexes and strength, and his sword fighting skills are second to none.
Created in collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED, here is Geralt's Steel Sword from the universe of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, an award winning action role-playing game. While steel swords are traditionally made from either meteoric or magnetite iron, this official replica is made of safe Calimacil foam. Crafted and designed from original in-game assets, it is soft enough to ensure safe usage in mock combat, but firm enough for Cosplay and prop usage.
In the open world of Wild Hunt, you chart your own path to adventure. You play as a bounty hunter, a man of the road. You set your own goals and choose your own destinations. Go after the bounty on the head of a nasty monster pestering a village or help a scheming noble who needs a dirty job done — no matter what style of epic questing you crave, The Witcher will provide it. Now you can also wield our steel sword foam replica and train your sword-fighting techniques to match those of Geralt.

It's light enough that it doesn't feel cumbersome, but still a two handed sword (or one if you've got good arm strength). It's beautiful, even my mother likes the blade even though should would definitely disapprove of the Witcher. It's solid, the tip doesn't feel like it's going to just break off like a nerf one would.
10/10 would recommend.
Thin, light and elegant, there's nothing about this sword not to like. As a note, this is a LONG sword. I'm 183cm and I find myself wishing for something just slightly smaller, but this is not a complaint against the sword itself, rather my personal taste. Purely on a cosmetic front, the sword is beautiful and a wonderful reproduction of the original. The grip is on the thin end, but is very nicely textured, and with the overall light weight and point of balance, it isn't an issue. I do wish that the crossguard were a bit more sturdy, but it's stable enough to deflect while not being dangerously hard, but I feel like I'm looking for problems to even mention that. The scabbard has left some cosmetic damage from wear, but it's not distracting, nor does it take away from the overall effect. A great piece that fits well into many collections!
Pretty nice product.
Looks and feels even more sturdier than I thought at first will probably last long and can't wait to take it to my first larp!
