Sparrow Bow
Grace of the Forest, Precision in Hand
The Sparrow Bow unites the elegance of a longbow with the speed and precision of a recurve. Its ebony riser and flatbow design provide quick draw, fast handling, and sharp accuracy—making it one of the most precise and responsive bows in the Calimacil Archery range.
The Sparrow Bow is a refined hybrid in the tradition of the American Longbow, also called the Flatbow. Shaped to capture the elegance of the longbow without losing the maneuverability and accuracy of a recurve, it is crafted from laminated maple and fiberglass with an ebony riser. The riser includes both an arrow shelf and sight window, available for right- or left-handed use, ensuring precision for every archer. At only 355 grams, it remains lightweight while offering a 30-pound draw weight at 30 inches—an excellent balance for accuracy and control. Its simple black and natural wood finish ensures it blends seamlessly into any medieval or fantasy setting.
In the hush of dawn, when the sparrow’s song greets the waking forest, rangers move unseen among the trees. Their bows are not brutish tools of war, but companions of silence and precision. Light enough for long patrols and steady in the hand, the Sparrow was made to bring down quarry from the shadows—whether a stag in the glade or an enemy creeping upon the village. Its design whispers of balance, grace, and the timeless bond between hunter and wood.
The Sparrow Bow is best suited for rangers, scouts, and forest guardians—characters who live by stealth, precision, and harmony with the wilds. Whether you portray a lone elf patrolling hidden paths, a human woodsman defending the frontier, or a light-footed rogue relying on speed and accuracy, the Sparrow becomes more than a weapon—it is part of your character’s identity.
