Description
This helmet is built along the historical bouronet from the early 16th century. The head is well protected inside a round scull cap with a high riser in the centre of the spine. The face is covered by the small brim in the front and the two cheek flaps on the sides. Both flaps are punched with a floral pattern aside the ears to allow a better hearing. The helmet has an enlongened neckpiece, so that the part between cuirass and helmet is closed as well. The burgonet developed from the sallet in the 16th century and was, just behind the Morion, the most worn helmet in the 16th and 17th century. Material: 1,2mm steel Size: up to 62cm circumference Colour: blank We recommend to wear a padded coif underneath to avoid scratches and bruises. This will maximize your comfort.
