European belt buckles date back to the Roman Empire. Prior to the invention of the buckle, roman and germanic people used a ring made from various materials. The "Doran" series' ring belt copies this type of belt. It is made from split leather and enhances every costume thanks to its characteristic medieval knot.
The belt is secured by first pulling the strap through the ring and then back a little tighter than is comfortable. Then, the free end needs to be tucked under the tightened portion opposite from the buckle and pulled upwards. Finally, you slip the end through the loop that has been formed and secure it tightly. It may sound a little tricky, but it’s actually very easy! The knot stays well in place once it is tightened.
We recommend that you use polish the leather on a regular basis to ensure that it lasts for a long time.
