Roman Armor - Torso

Description

This set of roman armor made of leather combines fantasy elements with touches of Greco-Roman inspiration, an era filled with many myths and grand legends still popular today. Designed for LARPs, the armor is fabricated with molded vegetable leather and dyed by hand, compared to the historical element which could be made of iron or bronze. This choice makes the armor lighter, more flexible and adapted for LARPing combat, allowing for better ease of movement. The articulated cuirass offers excellent mobility, making it an armor worthy of the hoplite, the renowned gladiator, the grand warrior of legend or even the mythological hero in LARP events.

Legend

In ancient times where heroes fought superhuman creatures and demigods, an army was finally created to ensure the survival of humanity. These soldiers wore a flexible and fast armor to be effective on many battles. One of these battles inspired strategists in future years: the Battle of Himarak. This village was located in a valley that allowed passage to the inland of the country. The invaders, redundant, attacked the small garrison with confidence up. To counter this situation, the warriors think to operate in small group perfectly coordinated by combat whistle sounds. With accurate simultaneous attacks and good mobility, the enemy believed to be in a shorthanded and retreated after heavy losses.

Workshop

This set is a fantastic Roman inspiration from the days of Antiquity. The pieces are suitable for LARP: lightweight, comfortable and free movement for fighting. Les Artisans d'Azure revisits one of the old models used by several LARP troops. Dyeing is carried out by hand, small variation is possible. You can buy all the parts separately to coordinate with other products.
