Worn in the medieval ages by many footmen, due to its good protection from strikes from above. The wide brim is pulled downwards and gives good protection against rain and the sun. Sight and hearing are little interfered. The nape protection gives additional protection to the face.

We suggest to wear a chain coif and/or a padded coif underneath the helmet to avoid scratches and bruises when wearing.
