Description

The adventuring crew that walks into your inn is covered in mud and gore, barely wiping their feet before trekking across your floors. With a sigh you greet them and offer them rooms. They want a meal, and you offer them that, too. It’s easy to dish out some cold gruel and a few loaves of bread on your Inn Keeper plate, after all.

While adventurers do make a mess of things, they also have great coin. You make sure to charge them double the usual rate.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Inn Keeper Plate, is a plate, designed and treated for food consumption. This plate is made of genuine horn from the Indian water buffalo, featuring unique colouring that makes every dish a piece of artwork. The surface is polished to perfection and is smooth to the touch, making each piece easy to clean.

Enjoy cool and room temperature foods and liquids in these dishes while remaining in character, hiding away the unsightly plastic or paper plates. Our bowls and plates are a great addition to many LARPs and historical events. With the proper care, you can expect your Inn Keeper Plate to last many long years.

HISTORY

  • The earliest dishes were made out of wood, and later developed into pottery

Your bowl/plate is made from genuine Indian water buffalo horn, a product made from real kerotin. It was handcrafted, and therefore each bowl/plate is unique in its own special way thanks to the artist and variations in each individual horn. This bowl/plate has been created especially for food use, but we do advise that you take proper care of it in order to keep the product in good condition for continued use.

In order to best care for your genuine horn product, please avoid washing it in the dishwasher or with strong solvents, detergents, and/or chemicals. Use mild soap and lukewarm water, and towel dry immediately after washing. Do not microwave your bowl/plate or use it for hot liquids, as this can melt the inner coating and extreme temperature swings can cause the horn to crack. Avoid rubbing your bowl/plate against sharp objects, as its surface can scratch. Keep your bowl/plate out of extreme heat or cold.
