Excellent quality! Can't say as to it's durability as I haven't sparred with it unfortunately. Otherwise it looks fantastic and the point of balance is nice. And I have wacked people lightly and they said it didn't hurt so that's good! All in all, pretty good.
My first larp sword I ever owned was one of these, perfect for every fight I have ever been in
I love all this scotland, so when I finally found this weapon it was a dream come true. I wish Calimacil made a scottish basket hilt broadsword. I own one of every model of their Highlander except for their earlier one. When I first got Into larp and learned about Calimacil they had a highlander that was gigantic. It matched a real claymore in every aspect except the material it was made from. Would absolutely love to see that model return. Would be amazing to see calimacil also do a scottish lowland sword.
Rien a redire de cette belle épée, étonnamment légère et maniable, je recommande
The highlander III is an amazing sword for anything from cosplays to intense sword fights. It's perfectly balanced and can be used for extensive amounts of time with little effort and still have enough force to break the guard of a smaller sword. It's durability is extraordinary and it still looks realistic after over two years of constant and rough use. Its grip is comfortable and spacious and the handguard has saved me more times than I can remember. The blade is the perfect length for a large range that can leave you at a distance where you can hit but not be hit without sacrificing handling and it won't leave you open to counter attacks. I have found it my weapon of choice and I believe it is one of the greatest weapons available on the market, and it's versatile usage is helpful in all situations. It is deserves way above any praise I can communicate and the Calimacil brand is proof of that and in my opinion is underpriced. Outstanding job!
