This is why we have created the first and only lightsabers built for battle from high quality modular components. The Quasar LEDSaber is great for roleplaying and practicing the Jedi way!

How is the Quasar LEDSaber different from other Lightsabers on the market?

Handling. These sabers are designed with a grip that fits perfectly in your hand. This ergonomic handle makes tricky moves more feasible, such as twirls and spins, just like in the movies. The non-slippery handle ensures you'll be able to hold the weapon securely no matter what kind of battle conditions you face.

Safety. The Quasar LEDSaber is the first Lightsaber to feature a replaceable foam sleeve, protected by a Nylon ripstop layer. Not only does it make your Lightsaber look awesome, but it also protects against an accidental hits on knuckles or other body parts.

Customization. The Quasar LEDSaber is the most customizable lightsaber on the market. You can change the light and sound patterns to be anything you want, whether you're looking to recreate the sound effects and light effects of your favorite movie or game, or add an extra layer of realism to your LARP.

Durable yet Modular Handles

There are other options on the market, but they just don't compare to the Quasar LEDSaber because they aren't made with usability in mind, only visual appearance. We've rigorously tested all the materials we use, as well as engineered each component to be modular and user friendly.

The LEDSaber handle is made of a non-slippery proprietary polymer over-molded over an aircraft-grade extruded aluminum. The result is a handle that has the grip and flexibility of rubber, with the durability of metal.

This means:

You'll never drop it!
It won't get damaged when you drop it! (Although you won't drop it!)
It's comfortable to hold and swing around as much as you like!

Every component can be removed with a hex-key and replaced or upgraded, including the battery and blade plug. This means that your Quasar LEDSaber will last as long as you care to keep it! If one part breaks, you can easily replace it. It also makes it easy to upgrade your lightsaber whenever we come out with new features. For example, we're currently developing a color option for our handles that will be available soon.

A Blade Engineered for Greatness

The best part about a lightsaber is of course, the fight itself: the contact of blade against blade!
For the best fighting experience, it's crucial to have a blade that stand up to the trials of combat.

The Quasar blade is made from high grade polycarbonate, a material used to make bulletproof glass. This allows us to use a thinner wall than other manufacturers while still being able to withstand the blows of even the most passionate Jedi or Sith. We designed our own blade profile so that it protects our LED from damage during battle. The end of the blade is thermo molded for extra protection against breakage and so it doesn’t fly away during your fight with Darth Vader (or Obi-Wan Kenobi). The tip also has a threaded insert that makes it easy to replace with only a hex key (provided). You can also add or remove the foam sleeve depending on your fighting style and preference for tactile feedback when you hit your opponent!

Unlimited Behavior Customization

The saber's light and sound effects are can be updated over wifi, so you can change its behavior on the fly—and even create new behaviors that we haven't thought of yet!

You can customize how it reacts to hits (three different levels), how it reacts to movement, and even how it reacts when you press one of the buttons on the hilt. Just connect using our app for Android (iOS coming soon), or with a computer on ai-larp.net

You can also use your saber with other Quasar sabers in order to create a truly unique experience—the possibilities are limitless!

Build Your Own Lightsaber With The DIY LED Lightsaber KIT

If you're a die-hard Star Wars fan or just a DIY enthusiast, the Quasar LEDSaber is also available in DIY version. The bare Aluminum profile is ready for your 3D printing or crafting skills—and it's easy to use, too!

All you need is a 3D printer or some crafting materials like worbla, glue, paint, or leather to make your own lightsaber handle. You can even customize it with the color scheme of your favorite Jedi Master, or maybe even print out some custom graphics on the blade itself. The sky's the limit!

As crafting enthusiasts, we know that it's difficult to make 3D shapes from 2D raw materials like Worbla or foam. That's why we provide Flat Pattern files of the Handle so you can cut your crafting material in the right size and hole pattern.
