Legend

Training with wooden swords is very practical, but when facing a real threat, survival is less than assured without a sturdy steel blade. But to be able to hold to this weapon, one needs to have gone through the adulthood rite of passage. After the series of trials, that are kept secret until I am facing them, I will officially be considered an adult. This means I will receive, like every man and woman of my clan, a sword. I will then be able to take part in the battles they fight, and help them defend what is ours.

Workshop

The Robbert Stark LARP sword is a great addition to the Squire collection. Made of safe Calimacil foam, this weapon will give you years of good use thanks to its unrivalled durability. The guard of the sword is steel-coloured and the handle is black. The blade is silver-coloured to give a unique and incredibly realistic look.

Characters

Of historical inspiration, this sword is perfect for knights, warriors and other characters fighting for a noble cause or for the domination of a country. Moreover, it is not unheard of that such a sword is found in the depths of a Troll’s keep or in the hands of an Orc, meaning that some unfortunate adventurer crossed paths with some dire beast.

Veteran Collection

Not all knights wear shiny armors and wield polished swords. When the warriors return home from war, plates are tarnished; chain mails are starting to rust; and weapons are marked by battle.

The Veteran Collection adds a unique touch to every Calimacil foam weapon. Battle scars and other wear marks are added to give it a more realistic appearance. The process is done completely by hands by one of our artists; making every sword axe or mace a unique piece.

Great Quality Sword

Disregard my previous review. I would delete it or edit if I could however I've had no such luck. Regardless, I've since received my sword after some back and forth with the support team and it's everything I wanted it to be.

Firstly (and most importantly) the weight and feeling of the sword is great. I have no concept of how swords /should/ feel, bare in mind, or if this is technically the right size. However I ordered it expecting a large hand and a half sword, and that's precisely what I got. The grip is large enough to be used with two hands (although you have to hold the pommel to get the best balance, which is to be expected with such a sword) and wields fantastically. The blade is just the right size that you have great range, while small enough and light enough to be used with one hand should you so choose (and should you be a slightly larger and/or stronger person than myself, haha). The balance point for those that are curious is approximately 8 inches up the blade. I have no idea if this is how a sword is supposed to be balanced so I can't say if this is where it should be or not, but it does mean that it can feel unwieldy when used in one hand if you're small and weak like me.

The design on the sword is aesthetically pleasing in terms of its texturing, and while I've only had the sword for a short while the construction is very solid and seems as though it should hold up to a fair amount of use.

My only real complaint is in the grip. Perhaps it's me (and the fact that I don't know what I'm talking about) but it feels a tad thin, and the material there feels cheap. Which isn't to say it's low quality material, it just doesn't accent the sword very well. I suspect it will hold up just fine in terms of usability, but I may end up covering it with a faux leather rap for visual reasons. Overall a very solid product and despite the delays I'm glad I purchased it. Looking forward to using it more.

If you're considering buying this sword, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

My apologies for the low quality photos. Hopefully they give you a sense of the scale for this beauty.
