The Squire Collection : Safe, Durable and Realistic. The products of the Squire Collection make no compromise on the essential characteristics of a Calimacil Foam Weapon. You want to start larping? You have a friend that needs a quality foam weapon? The Squire Collection offers an affordable option for any situation. Their simple design makes them perfect for beginners and veterans alike.

The englishmen were more and more agressive, pushing further and further the battles in the heart of our lands. We needed to react. While many could simpy take up their family’s blades, most didn’t have this chance. Blacksmiths worked day and night to make more blades, melting forks, cauldrons and other metallic items. Even if they didn’t have a story or weren’t ornate with complex engravings, these new swords were eager to write their own. After all, how could we tell our tale if we weren’t victorious?

The Bellator II is the natural evolution of the first generation of this two-handed Squire sword. Always made of safe Calimacil foam, this sword will give you years of good use thanks to its unrivalled durability. The guard of the sword is now steel-coloured and the handle is black. The blade stays silver-coloured to make a unique and incredibly realistic sword.

You want to be able to lop out an arm with a single swing? This blade is perfect for you. Thought for strong warriors that don’t need to be encumbered by a shield, the defensive aspect is taken care of by the incredible reach the sword offers. Orcs, demonic creatures and other bloodthirsty warriors will all love the brutal efficiency of this sword.

Excellent small 2H Sword

I've owned a Bellator II magnified by the Atelier Fantastic'Art for a few months, now.
This version of the sword is a bit longer (127cm), but the matter is representative of Calimacil's work.

The foam is way softer than the previous swords I tested, which makes it less painful while still feeling super resistant. Perfect.

However, I'm used to handle my bastard and 2H swords by holding them by the bottom of the handle, due to the absence of counterweight to balance the weapon, and this part of the Bellator II actually produced a cracking sound while doing it, so I'd recommand holding it by the actual handle only.

TL;DR : Nice sword, sori for bad anglish

Really great sword

Very nice sword , looks good apart from a few tiny holes that line the edge of the foam. Would be 5 stars if the crossguard was actually able to support any weight like a incoming strike before bending to the side , though that would make it less safe. The pommel is pretty hard and would really hurt if it hit you. For the price you pay I do expect just a bit more perfection. But it's solid and fun to fight with, looks great too. I'm considering getting a second one for more fair fights if a sale hits.
