About Refurbished Items : A weapon is declared refurbished when, following a standard inspection by Calimacil, it does not reach the expected esthetical level. A refurbished weapon will have the same security level as a standard Calimacil weapon but may have some lower quality result on painting, forms or other. This type of weapon is covered by a one year warranty on manufacturing defects that can result in the weapon breaking or being unsafe. It will however not cover the visual aspect of the product like the warranty on our regular items.
This LARP-ready war hammer's head is steel-coloured with golden details for a striking realism, while the handle is wooden in appearance. As always, the weapon is made of Calimacil foam – almost indestructible and safe for repeated battles and without danger for both parties. It is possible to add a leather cord through the hole at the base of the handle to carry the war hammer with ease. Special thanks to Naev Sioreze and Raphaël Côté who helped us find the name on our Facebook page.
This little hammer is light but tough. Its so light that in the wrong hands i'm sure you could hurt someone with it.
its small were you could place it on a belt loop or tie some rope and hang it off something else and have a very handy side weapon when you lose or drop your current one.
I have been really into historical arms & armor for quite some time & I've always been a big fan of war hammers. This is a rather nice & quite simple war hammer of a roughly historical design & that's great. I honestly love this thing, it's a ton of fun to swing around. Mine's refurbished so there's some minor texture & paint flaws, but it still looks great & it's solidly built without any structural issues whatsoever. I've had it for a several years now & it's still one of my favorites.
I do have one minor critique though. I like to hold it right at the base of the handle for maximum leverage & also because it gets a little bit wider right there at the bottom so it's a really comfortable place to hold it. The issue is that the structural rod in the center doesn't go all the way to the bottom so if I hold it down there the only thing I have to hold onto is the foam itself which is quite flexible. The rod goes basically all the way to the top but at the bottom it ends about 2 inches short. It's really not a huge issue & I might be the only one who's bothered by it in any way but it is something I noticed.
tres bien fait tres content
I absolutely love wielding this hammer. It's very light and you can just go amok with it on your enemies.
After all, it's so darn effective! I want to keep my edge with this awesome weapon!
